SATURDAY 28th JANUARY-STOCKCARS(4-cell) & BANGERS

STOCK CARS:- Eight cars took part in this first 4-cell car experiment. There were 3 rounds of 2 mins for the 8 cars ( no marshals). with a 7 minute final. Final result:- 1st Anthony Wyper 109 laps, 2nd Steven Curley 106, 3rd Terry Crowley 103, 4th Craig Howard 95, 5th Joe Huxley 94, 6th Chris Darlaston 91, 7th Loran Darlaston 87, 8th Max Howard - did not start. All those who took part enjoyed this different type of racing, and it was agreed to hold another 4-cell meeting soon.

BANGERS:- 6 cars- 3 - normal 4min races. Final result:- 1st Max Howard 44 laps, 2nd Rick Mills 32, 3rd Matthew Mills 35, 4th Chris Faulkner 37, 5th Chris Darlaston 3, 6 the Loran Darlaston - did not start.

SATURDAY 21st JANUARY - STOCK CAR & SALOONSTOCK POINTS MEETING (32 cars raced)

STOCK CARS:- 20 cars. "A" Final result:- 1st Graham Eccles 70 laps, 2nd Chris Darlaston 69, 3rd Gary mcMullen 67, 4th Gary Osborne 65, 5th Peter Ayriss 64, 6th Elliot Oliver 63, 7th Duncan Stott 62, 8th Steven Curley 61 laps.

"B" Final result:- 1st Paul Jankinson 68 laps, 2nd Ian Yarwood jnr 66, 3rd Terry Crowley 60, 4th Daniel McMullen 56, 5th Brandon Eccles 55, 6th Ian Warman 54, 7th Rob Willshire 39.

SALOONSTOCKS:_ 4 cars. Final result:- 1st Adam Sutherland 66, 2nd Gary Osborne 61, 3rd Ian Warman 55, 4th Rob Willshire 52 laps.

BANGERS:- 8 cars. Final result:- 1st Steve Turner 43 laps, 2nd Adam Turner 39, 3rd Max Howard 33, 4th Matthew Mills 29, 5th Rick Mills 23, 6th Chris Faulkner 11, 7th Cameron Spinks 6, 8th Duncan Stott - did not start.

SATURDAY 14th JANUARY-MIXED FORMULA

STOCK CARS:- "A" Final result:- 1st Terry Crpwley 65 laps, 2nd Elliot Oliver 64, 3rd Duncan Stott 63, 4th Adam Sutherland 61, 5th Joe Huxley 54, 6th Steve Curley 29 laps. "B" Final 1st Chris Darlaston 62 laps, 2nd Joe Huxley(with Anthony's car), 61, 3rd Loran Darlaston 57, 4th Chris Faulkner 15 laps.

BANGERS:- Final result:- 1st Max Howard 38 laps, 2nd Lee Fearnley 38, 3rd Chris Faulkner 29, 4th Duncan Stott 22, 5th Matthew Mills 19, 6th Lewis Fearnley 15, 7th Loran Darlaston 11, 8th Chris Darlaston -no transponder.

SATURDAY 7th JANUARY 2012 - STOCK CAR & BANGER POINTS MEETING (31 Cars)

STOCK CARS (20). This was the first meeting with a new points system, points for heat positions as well as final. Also races shuffled each round. "A" Final ewsult:- 1st Anthony Wyper 70 laps, 2nd Carl Baker 69, 3rd Elliot Oliver 69, 4th Gary McMul;len 69, 5th Paul Jenkinson 69, 6th Graham Eccles 68, 7th Gary Osborne 66, 8th Pete Ayriss 64 laps. "B£ Final result:- 1st Adam Sutherland 67 laps, 2nd Hannah Ayriss 63, 3rd Jow Huxley 63, 4th Terry Crowley 61, 5th Steven Curley 58, 6th Colin Mulligan 55, 7th Chris Darlaston 48, 8th Rob Willshie 47 laps.

NEW YEAR 2012 - MONDAY 2nd JANUARY.- 22 cars.

STOCK CARS:- The 3 rounds were shuffled by the computer, so that you did not have the same drivers each round.

"A" Final result:- 1st Mark Craig 65 laps, 2nd Duncan Stott 63, 3rd Joe Huxley 63, 4th Elliot Oliver 62, 5th Jon Ashworth 60, 6th Terry Crowley 60, 7th Thomas Yarwood 34. "B" Final result:- 1st Anthony Wyper 68 laps, 2nd Chris Darlaston 66, 3rd Loran Darlaston 54, 4th Chris Faulkner 48, 5thSteven Curley 29, 6th Craig Howard 15 laps.

BANGERS:- Final result:-Lee Fearnley 48 laps, 2nd Duncan Stott 47, 3rd Jon Ashworth 42, 4th Matthew Mills 41, 5th Max Howard 40, 6th Chris Faulkner 36, 7th Loran Darlaston 30, 8th Lewis Fearnley 3, 10th Amelia Cheshire - did not start.

MONDAY 26th DECEMBER (BOXING DAY) - This was our 33rd Boxing Day meeting - we have raced every year since we started. A total 0f 27 cars raced.

STOCK CARS:- 18 cars raced in 3 heats of 6. Highest laps in the 3 rounds being 69 by Anthony Wyper in all 3 rounds, and Paul Jenkinson. Then it was 68 by Paul, Crl Baker and Pete Ayriss. "A" Final result:- 1st Paul Jenkinson 68 laps, 2nd Duncan Stott 67, 3rd Elliott Oliver 64, 4th Thomas Yarwood 64, 5th Chris Darlaston 64, 6th Steven Curley 60, 7th Anthony Wyper 33, 8th Tery Crowley 30 laps. "B" Final result:- 1stJoe Huxley 59 laps, 2nd Jon Ashworth 56, 3rd Charlotte Yarwood 53, 4th Hannah Ayriss 52, 5th Loran Darlaston 25 laps.

BANGERS:- 9 cars all in one heat, ighest laps being 48 by Ian Yarwood, then 47 by Lee Fearnley. Final result:= 1st Lee Fearnley 53, 2nd Jon Ashowrth 46, 3rd Chris Flynn 44, 4th Matthew Mills 38, 5th Lee Bingham 24, 6th Lewis Fearnley 18, 7th Ian Yarwood 2, 8th Loran Darlaston 2, 9th Gary OSborne - did not start.

CARAVANS:- Best overall caravan trophy went to Tom Yarwood, best with Stock Car to Hannah Ayriss, and best with Banger to Ian Yarwood. At the end of the meeting was 2 races with caravans attached to cars. The last survivor and trophy winner in the Bangers was Lee Fearnley, and in the Stock Cars it was Hannah Ayriss. A trophy also went to the best junior Banger driver in the final - Matthew Mills.

SATURDAY 17th DECEMBER - MIXED FORMULA.

A quieter Saturday than of late with 21 cars racing

STOCK CARS:- 15 cars racedc - 3 heats of 5. Highest laps in the 3 rounds were 71 by Elliot Oliver, then 68 by Elliot, Carl Baker, and Duncan Stott. "A" Final result:- 1st Elliot Oliver 68 laps, 2nd Carl Bake 68, 3rd Adam Sutherland 66, 4th Duncan Stott 66, 5th Steven Curley 65, 6th Colin Mulligan 63, 7th Terry Crowley 62, 8th Anhtony Wyper 59 laps. "B" Final result:- 1st Gary James 64 laps, 2nd Chris Darlaston 62, 3rd Mark Craig 59, 4th Joe Hixley 32, 5th Chris Faulkner 24 laps.

BANGERS:- 6 cars raced - Final positions:- 1st Jonathan Sutherland 45 laps, 2nd Adam Turner 42, 3rd Chris Faulkner 39, 4th Steve Turner 29, 5th Duncan Stott 27, 6th Lewis Fearnley 20 laps.
